Hannis T. Bourgeois is actively looking for a qualified IT Technician to support a fast-growing multiple office, multi-disciplined team. The technician will also be responsible for resolving help desk tickets, setting up new workstations, and supporting line of business applications.
A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail. A degree in Computer Information Systems or relevant field is required. 2-5 years of experience as IT Technician or relevant position is strongly preferred. CCH experience preferred but not required. Client Advisory Services (CAS) Senior Accountants
Our firm is seeking accountants with 3-5 years’ experience to join the Client Advisory Services (CAS) practice in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and New Orleans. This position is responsible for providing professional consulting, project management, and outsourced controller/CFO services for our CAS/Outsourced Accounting clients. These services require strong planning, communication, and organizational skills; as well as the ability to analyze complex financial data and client workflows to solve problems thoroughly and quickly. In addition, this position is responsible for a variety of general accounting duties including maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing financial reports in accordance with applicable standards. Experience with QuickBooks and other integrated 3rd party software solutions is strongly preferred. Candidate should also hold a current and valid CPA license or should be working toward obtaining a CPA license.
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for all payroll functions of payroll clients, which includes compiling accurate records of time sheets reported, computing earnings, withholding mandatory amounts such as taxes and benefits, accurate payments, printing checks, and reporting to federal and state agencies. In addition, the Payroll Specialist must have the ability to work with clients to automate payroll process by converting from manual process to automated/outsourced solution.
