Baton Rouge, February 15, 2008 - Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP, (HTB) certified public accountants, has announced the following promotions:
Uvonne G. Brewer, CPA and Shannon E. Wascom, CPA have been named partners. They were previously Senior Managers. Brewer joined the firm in 1985, and her areas of specialization include auditing of small businesses, pension plans, and the construction and financial industries. Wascom, who joined the firm in 2001, has 11 years of public accounting experience and specializes in all areas of taxation as well as litigation support.
Established in 1924 and with offices in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs, HTB is one of the oldest and largest Certified Public Accounting and Consulting firms in Louisiana.
