History

In 1924, Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP, was founded by its namesake. He, along with Louis J. Bonnecaze and Lee R. Whatley, comprised the first generation of partners. All of these partners remained active in the firm until shortly before their deaths.

HTB is currently comprised of 13 partners and a staff of over 70. This second generation of partners sets HTB apart from other CPA firms. As Managing Partner, Randy Bonnecaze, points out, “we have already gone through retirements. Our clients know who they will be dealing with for many years to come, and they can count on us to be there.” In addition, the client retention rate is remarkably high. Numerous clients have been served by the firm for over 50 years.
