On May 17, 2006, President Bush signed the Tax Increase Prevention and Reconciliation Act of 2005 (TIPRA). This act extends a variety of different tax breaks, expands the kiddie tax to age 18 and temporarily protects some middle-income Americans from the alternative minimum tax (AMT). Read more»
