Our Baton Rouge office is seeking a full-time Internal Accountant with 5 or more years of experience preparing financial statements, producing effective budgets, maintaining account balances, managing files and producing information for audits. This position will assist the COO with various accounting tasks for the firm, such as monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable, assisting with payroll processes, and tracking information pertaining to firm assets and income. Experience working in public accounting is a plus.

Ideal candidates will possess strong planning and organizational skills, ability to analyze complex financial data and solve problems thoroughly and quickly. Our firm is seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join the New Orleans practice. This position involves evaluating and assessing complex tax issues and sophisticated tax planning for clients of the firm. Areas of focus include income, gift, and estate tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners. This position will serve as a primary technical resource for the firm and must possess strong research and analytical skills, as well as a businessman's perspective. Must have J.D. (LLM – Taxation strongly preferred), current and valid CPA License, 8+ years of public accounting or legal tax experience serving high net worth individuals, closely-held businesses, estates and trusts, investment, and professional partnerships, etc.
